You may also want to think about setting up shop near a window so that you have access to natural light, which can make working more enjoyable.

Once you have the perfect spot picked out, you’ll need to decide on a desk and an office chair. The type of furniture you choose is highly dependent on your needs. You may want a lot of drawer space to hold papers and files, or you may only need a table top. The same goes for your chair, some people prefer a swivel chair while others would rather something stationary. What matters most is that you’re comfortable.
