Cleaning your oven is not the most pleasant of tasks, and it’s an easy chore to put off for weeks or months at a time. Many people procrastinate about taking care of this task because they think it’s a difficult process that requires a lot of effort, but that simply isn’t true. In fact, cleaning your oven is simple, and all you need is water, a spray bottle, baking soda, and a dry cloth.
Below are the steps to cleaning your oven:
• First, ensure that your oven is shut off and wait until it’s completely cool to do any cleaning.
• Next, remove the baking racks. You may wish to clean them in warm, soapy water, rinsing thoroughly when complete. Let them air dry.
• Then, spray down the inside of the oven with water and sprinkle a thick layer of baking soda on the bottom. Spray more water over the baking soda so it forms a paste.
• Let the baking soda sit for up to three hours.
• Finally, wipe up the baking soda with a soft cloth, and replace the baking racks inside the oven. And just like that – you now have a sparkling clean oven!
