- Take an old pillowcase that you don’t mind getting dirty
- Stand carefully on something strong and sturdy, like a step stool, underneath your ceiling fan
- Place the pillow case around one of the fan’s blades so that the blade is inside the pillow case
- Hold the pillow case down flat on either side of the blade and pull it off – the dust will stay inside the pillow case!
- Repeat on each of the fan’s blades
