- Don't be afraid to ask for repairs - the management staff at The Quarters is responsible for keeping your apartment in good repair. Anytime you suspect that a major appliance is malfunctioning or there is a water leak, call the office right away. Don't wait for a small problem to become a large one!
- Test all smoke detectors every six months and contact the office if any are malfunctioning.
- Don't store extra keys outside, like under a mat or flower pot. Instead, you could store them in a locked glove box (if you own a vehicle) or with a trusted friend or family member who lives nearby.
- Keep the doors locked at all times, even when you're at home. If you get into the habit of consistently locking your doors, you won’t have to worry about accidentally forgetting to do so later on down the road.
- Keep your spaces clutter-free. It will help reduce stress and make your apartment look much better. Nothing is worse than losing something you need at an inopportune time!
