Try these tips when hemming pants in our apartments in Lady Lake, Florida:
- Remove the hem that is in place, if one is there
- Try the pants on and pin or place a light mark where you would like the new hem to be
- Trim excess fabric, leaving only about an inch or two below where you want the new hem to be
- Use an hot iron to press the new hem line until it starts to take form
- Hand-stitch or sew the pants at the new hem
- Press the pants once again to lock in the finish
