- Set your alarm for 30 minutes. Without the alarm, it’s possible that you may sleep into the evening. Assuming that it takes you about five minutes to fall asleep, 25 minutes of sleep is enough to refresh and re-energize you.
- If you feel sluggish or sleepy when you wake up from your power nap, simply wash your face, drink some water, or make a cup of coffee or tea. Many people find it beneficial to exercise immediately after waking up from their nap.
