A security deposit is a fee collected
by your apartment manager to cover any damages during
the course of your rental. Typically, security deposits
are refunded at the end of a lease term if the apartment
is left in acceptable condition.
Your Lady Lake,
Florida apartment leasing staff at The Quarters can
thoroughly explain the terms and conditions of your security
deposit; however these are a few measures you can take
to increase the chances that your deposit is returned
to you upon termination of your lease.
- Make sure to read your lease terms to find out what will disqualify you from getting your
full deposit back, and make all members of the household
aware of these terms.
- Keep your appliances clean and make
sure they are in working order.
- Care for your apartment as if you
owned it, and call The Quarters maintenance staff if
you have any damages or appliance failures.
- Notify apartment staff of any pets
you own.
- Pay your deposit with a check, not
cash.
- Pay your rent on time and in full.
- Keep all rooms in your apartment
clean – including the kitchen and bathroom(s).
